About Football Health Foundation
Established in 2020 and registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (U85300DL2020NPL361487), Football Health Foundation (FHF) is a pioneering non-profit organization based in New Delhi, India. Our organization was founded with the conviction that football, as the world's most popular sport, holds unique potential to address critical health and social challenges.
We operate with the core objective of promoting health awareness, physical fitness, mental well-being, and community cohesion through structured football-based interventions. Our work spans across urban and rural India, focusing particularly on youth, women, and underprivileged communities who often lack access to organized sports and health education.
Our legal status as a Section 8 company ensures that all our profits are reinvested into our social objectives, and we maintain complete transparency in our operations. We are governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and advised by experts in sports medicine, public health, and community development.

Our Vision & Mission
Our Vision
To create a healthier India where every individual, regardless of socioeconomic background, has access to the benefits of organized sports and understands the importance of physical and mental wellness as a fundamental component of a fulfilling life.
Our Mission
To utilize football as a tool for holistic development by designing and implementing community-based programs that promote physical health, teach nutritional awareness, foster mental resilience, build life skills, and strengthen social bonds across diverse populations in India.
Our Values
Inclusion, Integrity, Empowerment, Community-First, Health Equity, and Sustainable Impact guide every aspect of our work. We believe in collaborative partnerships and evidence-based approaches to create lasting positive change.
Our Core Programs
Youth Football for Health (YFH)
A school and community-based program targeting children aged 8-16. YFH combines regular football training with interactive workshops on nutrition, hygiene, substance abuse prevention, and mental well-being. The curriculum is designed by sports educators and child psychologists to ensure age-appropriate learning. Sessions are conducted twice weekly after school hours in partnership with local schools and municipal bodies. Over the past year, YFH has reached 1,200 children across 8 districts, showing measurable improvements in BMI, physical endurance, and self-reported happiness scores.

We conduct regular health screenings in collaboration with partner hospitals and provide nutritional supplements where needed. The program also includes vocational skill-building modules, fostering economic independence. Since its launch, WWTW has established 15 women's football clubs in Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, and Haryana, engaging over 500 participants.

Community Coach Development (CCD)
To ensure sustainability, FHF trains local youth as certified community football coaches and health ambassadors. The 6-month CCD program includes FA-accredited football coaching certification, first-aid training, basic counseling skills, and program management. Graduates are employed part-time by FHF to run local programs, creating a virtuous cycle of skill development and employment. Our coaches come from the communities they serve, ensuring cultural relevance and trust. To date, we have trained 50 community coaches, 40% of whom are women, creating a grassroots network of health and sports advocates.

Revenue generated from corporate partnerships is cross-subsidized to fund our programs for underprivileged communities.
